Wild Planet Spy Video Car Reviews

Customer Reviews:

We got this Spy Video Car for my 8-yr-old for Christmas, and he loves it. The camera and video screen are far better than we imagined they would be for a toy - you can actually tell what your looking at! His favorite activity, of course, is to control the car from two or three rooms away. The car seems very easy to control. Easy enough that his 5-yr-old brother has done fairly well driving the car as well. The car has been durable enough to withstand bumps into furniture and cabinets (sometimes at a good rate of speed). Although it does require some extra care, the camera is nicely integrated into the car, so it won't be easily broken off and with the black paint, it looks very spy-like. The goggles seem to be well made and the video screen is over one eye so only moderately impairs vision. (This is not a problem because the kids don't seem to want to walk around. They much prefer to stay in one place and enjoy driving the car when you can't see it.) Daddy and other family member have enjoyed playing with the car as well. I would highly recommend this car for any child that is mature enough to use a remote control and recognize the need to take a little extra car in handling the car/camera and the goggles.

My son received this Spy Video Car from santa. He was not very good at it first and was running it into the wall trying to get adjusted looking through the eye piece. NOW, he is a pro! Spying on his sisters as well as his dad and I. We see that car come in the living room while watching movies. It is really fun. Everyone in the family including us parents love to play with it. I would highly recommend this product.

My sons got this Spy Video Car for Christmas and just love it! I enjoyed playing with it, too. Have lots of batteries on-hand, though. After an involved day or two of play, you'll need to replace the batteries. It also gets slower as the batteries run out and the video feed wavers although the car will still drive for a while with poor video. If you're not a pushover like me, changing the batteries when the video signal gets weak, your batteries will last you longer. It's one of the best toys the boys have ever had, unlike a lot of toys that look cool but barely work. No assembly--just insert batteries and plug in the eye viewer and go-go-go!

My son received this Spy Video Car from Santa this Christmas. He has not stopped playing with it and spying on us. :) It does eat up batteries, but what remote control doesn't?? In any event, it is one of the best toys he has ever received, seriously. I would HIGHLY recommend this for anyone liking remote control cars. It seems pretty durable as well....the dog and his little sister have picked it up, practically stepped on it and it is still going and going and going.
